that was my shocking day yesterday..after a year i work as a teller of Local Bank, there was my biggest fault i think. the day started when my first customer came and want to liquated her company's cheque, but my work table still messy. so i got my work in a rush and finished my first customer. second, third, fourth customer came and i have finished the work.
and the shocking part is when my fifth customer came, let's say Mr. X. he came to deposited his company's money and also liquated the cheque. while waiting the acc to paid the cheque, i was prepared the money. i just put the money on the count machine and ensured that the amount of money is already 100. so, when the cheque was OK to paid, i called Mr. X and put the money back on the machine, and also ensured that he was looked at my work.
he said thanks to me and left my counter. an hour later, he came to my counter and said that one of money that i gave to him before was rejected by other bank because of authenticity doubtful. he gave me the copy of the money and the letter from that bank. i just surprised when looking those paper. i just didn't know how to reacted. so, i asked him to told me what should i did at the time. he said to copy the papers as the evidence, and also told me to be more carefully when sortir the money. :'(
i didn't gave him another sheet of money to switched, because he just went out from my counter after the transaction. that's the rule, when u go out from the counter, that's the finish. so u cannot complain about the money anymore.
i felt like fool woman. didn't do my work carefully ):
